It must be Spring

You can’t believe the way my garden is growing. I am so pleased to see the cabbage, spinach, brussel sprouts, broccoli, lettuces, pumpkins, squashes, etc growing so well. I moved some into the garden this week and they seem to be doing well. I still have them covered with glass to protect them from the light frost we are getting most nights. Serena and Lumpy went to a new home today. I will miss them, but it was time for then to move on. Both were in such bad shape when they came, but with a little attention and good food they have developed into great pets. I’m glad they can go somewhere where they will be loved and cared for properly. Today was a burn day for me. You all know how I love to burn. Well, I got my fill of it today. The yard is starting to look better. I was able to rake a lot of it while the fire was roaring. Rick is out taking pictures of the fire. He thinks it looks like a volcano. I can see where he gets that. Speaking of the volcano…we have been getting lots of small earthquakes lately. One even was reported on the Portland news. It was just north of us. It’s the one I didn’t feel. Maybe we will have a little excitement one of these days. It seems that March and May are the times she like to rumble. So much for now. Have a great day!!!
