I love this time of year even though the heat is unbearable at times. The evenings are usually cool and I’m able to enjoy my flowers that I’ve worked so hard on and the view from the porch when the sun is setting or rising. I can hear the splashing of the water rushing from one pond to the other and usually have the babies and mamas loose to wander about chasing bugs and wandering in and out of the flower beds and on the porch (sometimes leaving a little present). It makes all the work worthwhile. All I need is a glass of tea and some sweet music and it is perfect.
