At work we have several swallow nests in various places. It has been fun watching the babies grow and leave the nest. Most of the customers have been very kind and just watched from afar.
Of course, there are always one or two (in this case some kids) who have to be destructive. They took a stick and knocked the nest out of it’s place. The babies weren’t ready to leave the nest and ended up on top of the phone booth. When I discovered them there were 3 and now there is only one. He’s been sitting here for several days all alone. People are being kind once again and have left him alone. One day I will go to work and he will be gone. Hopefully, in good shape.
